Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
“ For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
|
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who
loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor
principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height
nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the
love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Romans 8:35-39)
His church, made up of His elect (us)(saved Christians), His living temples.
Whose foundation is the rock (Jesus) that cannot be shaken. (Hebrews 12:
28) “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which can not be
shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with
reverence and godly fear”. His Church (the elect) have been given the
most precious gift. A gift that was so priceless it is incomprehensible, so
precious a gift that God send His only begotten son to die for us, so that we
may be heirs to His heavenly kingdom. Without such a gift from our
blessed Father there was no hope. Our fleshly lives could not stand against
His righteous judgment. Salvation would be impossible if it were not for
the sacrificial blood of our blessed Saviour Jesus Christ.
Christians are the Earthly Kingdom of Jesus Christ or the Lord’s Church
thus making us citizens of Heaven. Christians are the only people whom
profess Jesus Christ as their LORD and Saviour. Jesus sent by God, bridges
the gap between our sinful flesh and the merciful loving God in Heaven.
Jesus washes away our sins by His precious blood, making us pure as snow.
“Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe
yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have
against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Colossians 3:12-
13) Our purpose here is to glorify God, and doing His will in our blessed
lives. Let us always remember that is why we are here, so enjoy your life
and live according to His divine purpose (Gods will for you). Always
remember this “The LORD is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the
one who seeks Him” (Lamentations 3:25), and we His chosen ones (the
elect) can attest to that! Let us pray:

Scripture Investigation: The Church
Verses that speak of the Lords Church in (1 Timothy 3:15 and 1 Cor. 10:32) refer to the visible body of professed believers in Christ. Called collectively " The Church", though it is also known by many other names and divisions based upon differences in doctrine and governments. For the most part, within this church has existed the true Church, " which is considered His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all" (Eph. 1:22-23; also see Hebrews 12:23) like the believing remnant within Israel ( Romans 11:5). The predicted future of the true Church is translation and glory (1 Thess. 4:14-17; Romans 8:18-23); the future of the unsaved element of the visible church left on the earth at the rapture is apostasy and divine judgement. (2 Timothy 3:1-9: 2 Pet 2:1-3)
