Doxology
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav'nly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen
What A Friend We Have In Jesus
What a friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry ev'rthing to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry ev'rything to God in prayer!

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
take it to the Lord in prayer:
Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Saviour, still our refuge;
take it to our Lord in prayer:
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
take it to the Lord in prayer;
In His arms He'll take and shield thee;
thou wilt find a solace there.
Love Divine, All Love Excelling
By Charles Wesley 1747

Love divine, all love excelling, Joy of heav’n, to earth come down:
Fix in us thy humble dwelling, all thy faithful mercies crown:
Jesus, thou art all compassion, pure, unbounded love thou art;
Visit us with thy salvation, enter every trembling heart.

Breathe, O breath thy Spirit into ev’ry troubled breasts;
Let us all in thee inherit, let us find the promised rest:
take away the love of sinning; Alpha and Omega be;
End of faith, as it’s Beginning, set our hearts at liberty.

Come, Almighty to deliver, let us all thy life receive;
Suddenly return, and never, never more thy temples leave.
Thee we would be always blessing, serve thee as thy hosts above,
Pray, and praise thee, without ceasing, glory in thy perfect love.

Finish, then, thy new creation; pure and spotless let us be:
Let us see thy great salvation perfectly restored in thee;
Charged from glory into glory, till in heav’n we take our place,
Till we cast our crowns before thee, lost in wonder, love, and praise.
Amazing Grace!
By John Newton 1779

Amazing grace! – how sweet the sound – that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see.

“Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved;
how precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, tiols, and snares, I have already come;
‘tis grace has brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me, his Word my hope secures;
he will my shield and portion be, as long as life endures.

And when this flesh and heart shall fail, and mortal life shall cease,
I shall posses within the veil a life of joy and peace.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise than when we’ve first begun.
